Hey guys, first off I just want to thank you guys --- I don't post much, but I read a lot, and Azine is a gold mine in terms of knowledge and information.

Second, I have a 2002 TL-P, SSM with 132,000, I have had it for about 2 months now. Had the transmission replaced about a month ago, pads, rotors, and lines about 2 weeks ago, seafoam (gas tank and throttle body) and oil + filter about a week ago.

Anyways, when I am driving, then let go of the gas, when I go to push the gas again, there's a small, but noticeable jerk. I have a hard time believing it could be the transmission, but I thought I would ask here before I took it to Acura.

Could it possibly be the motor mounts? They are all original, with 132K on them.

yes.. check your motor mounts

 

Check the motor mounts first. It could be them or the trans.

 

That side motor mount is the cheapest piece of shit ever. When it goes bad it causes a bunch of unneeded movement.

 

I will probably go ahead and get the XLR8 mounts and see if that takes care of the problem, thanks guys!

 

I had that also imma replace tranny and motor mounts.
