Poor Gas Mileage After Installing Thermobloks

i installed Thermoblok spacers on the 02 TL and noticed a drop in gas mileage. im wondering if theres any solutions to get the mileage back to where it was before the install, without removing the spacers. one of my solutions was to install a wideband gauge and a piggyback system so the car can be fine tuned to fun a little leaner and get into its "sweet spot". its a bit pricey to go that way so im not sure how else to fix it.

we tryed swapping the spark plugs in hopes of burning the fuel off a little better and that helped slightly, but its not really noticeable. i was advised to clean the EGR port and check for a bad coilpack, but other then that, what else can i do to solve the problem?

the gaskets alone shouldnt have caused a drop in mileage.
How many tanks of fuel have you gone thru to know there is a drop? Where are you located? Weather and Winter formulas of fuel could be causing it.

we used a injector cleaner last month and it improved the sluggish throttle, currently in CT, its around 50 degrees during the day, and were using the lower grade fuel

Well i wold recommend using nothing but whats called for the car 91. While it runs what appears to be normal its not. I noticed a significant reduction in it when i had it in my car. Also your now running into winter fuel blends which alot of people will see reductions in over all mileage as well
