Piaa Foglight Bulb Problem!!

Hey guys,
I have a 03 tls, and I just replaced my old foglight bulbs with a pair of piaa star white 3800k bulb. I choose the piaa bulbs because it seems pretty popular on the fourms.
But the my foglight is still not white, its still yellowish color . I admit, that it is a little more brighter, but it's still that ugly yellowish color. It looks nothing like some of people's pics on this site with replaced foglight bulbs. I was wondering if I did something wrong??
Any help would be great,
Thanks all

Well when you put any halogen light in that proximity with true HIDs, it's not going to look anything BUT yellow. The people I see on here with fogs that match their HIDs have HIDs in them.

3800K refers to the color temperature of the light bulb.

The HID lights on the headlights are 4300K and alot of poeple have upgraded to 6000K or even 8000K bulbs

These all will apear to be brighter, but it is only a visual illusion, due to the blueness of the color in the 6000/8000 bulbs.

If you want brighter looking bulbs go with a higher color temp, but if you want actualy brighter bulbs then you should stick close to the 4300K in the stock HIDs

thats my
