Well...today I was driving to work......when I get to work I usually park my car backwords in a parking space; when I placed the car in REVERSE the passenger side mirror usually goes down to show where you are backing up, well today it did not go dow...I was wondering what the hell is going on ( I am freaking out ) and if someone else had any issues before with it? I did have my car done a few days ago at the dealership for my left headlight getting fogged up and they put on a new headlight, but that would not have anything to do with my passenger side mirror I would hope I am right.

 

Make sure teh position switch for the mirror is in the middle

 

i wanted to know if you had moved your mirror.............i had a problem like this before......it was that i had repositioned my mirror...........and the mirror stopped to angle down.........when i put the mirror back to where i had before it started working fine again..........

 

on my 03, with mirror switch in middle to allow dipping when in reverse, it would dip, but would not return to normal position when i put car in drive. dealership 'reset' memory and it has been fine since. as you just had your headlamp replaced, they probably disconnected the battery and forgot to 'reset' the mirror memory

today i drove to work and put the switch to the right and then reversed and guess what it worked?
wtf...
