Right side headlight just stopped working thought it was the bulb so I replaced the bulb today. Right side headlight is still doing to the same thing, turn on for 20 seconds than off. Please let me know if you had this issue and the fix. I would hate to throw parts...Igniter or inverter. I am including a video....

With the age of our cars, the HID set-up starts to show problems due to moisture and failing components.
The best solution is to simply replace the old set-up with new aftermarket HID kits available for less than $100.

Check the "DIY" sticky and search the many previous related threads on the subject for more info and tips.

 

You can swap the igniter and see if it follows. If it does its the igniter if does't it's the ballast. Note, to remove the light assembly you need to remove the front bumper skin first and a few other item like a bar that the headlight assemblies buttom bolts on to. Good luck.
