Passenger side headlight beam wont raise all the way

ever since i changed the bulb on my passenger side the beam does not go as high as the drivers side which still has the OEM bulb in it....im turning the screw and it goes up but it only goes to a certain point then stops....the drivers side on the other hand passes that certain point and DOESNT stop......what could it be??....do you think the bulb is in wrong or could the screw to raise the beam be broken or something please help

did you change any of your bulbs at all or did you change the passenger side like i did?

my lights were stolen and some asshole installed them for me....i refuse to go back to him, and the stealership wants to charge $40 to aim them "if they can do it" they told me over the phone!

sounds like your wither at teh maximum height for teh light or its striped out and wont raise any higher

no but the drivers side can go higher than the "max" limit on the passenger side i dont get it....if its stripped what can i do

make sure your bulb is inserted properly and tightened al the way into the housing...it doesn't take much to make the beam pattern disperse very much...

If the car hasn't had any body work around that area and you haven't done any DIY to this part of the car, I would almost be certain this is your problem...

yea i think so also im just waiting for the sun to cool down its to hot to go out there right now once i find out the problem ill let you know.....most likely thats my problem because i remember have problems putting the bulb in the wrong way the first time lol

well i took the bulb out and put it back in all over again it seems to be in correctly anyone know how to tell if its in correctly??......the beam still wont go any higher but what i dont get is the one on the drivers side can go higher than the one on the passenger side
