Parking Brake Adjust?

My parking brake pedal goes almost to the floor when I set it and the car still can move. I don't want to over adjust it. Can someone tell me how tight to adjust the parking brake? Thanks!
P.S. How do you get a shop manual or similar document? ALLDATA doesn't have info on Acuras

it should be somewhere between 2-4 clicks to fully applied, according to the service manuals

If your just taking about the parking brake, then you can adjust that (as Snowman says) under the center console or at the rear wheels. You'll have to take off the rear wheels and get to the rotor, or better yet, take the rotor off, but you can do it. Or,.. you could probably have someone do it for about $30.

I just found this, and i thought this is where the adjustment was seeing that i had noticed this on my stereo install. i think you just turn a nut on a pulley looking thing.

Adjusting the parking brake cable

In my case I just tightened up the cable.at the pedal There's an adjustment nut on the parking brake pedal (you have to get under the dash to see it). I took off the little black plastic cover/retainer. A 10mm wrench works just fine.
