P0505 IACV, replaced it, but still having the same problem.

Okay guys I recently had the IACV valve act up on me again. I cleaned it out, but still no goose. I picked up a used throttle body from a 2002 TL-P and removed the IACV, cleaned it, and replaced it, but the problem is still there!
Another thing is that I recently bought a universal o2 sensor to replace the primary o2 that went out on me. I occasionally get a P0135 code for the o2 sensor, so what I'm wondering is whether this o2 sensor could have anything to do with the P0505 code I'm getting? If i reset the ECU, the rough idling problem goes away for a little while, and sometimes just turning the engine off and on will get it going normally for a while again. It revs up and down from 1000 to 1500-1700 rpm, then drops to 1000 again.

Thanks in advance for your advice guys!

sounds like a bad signal from the O2
those universal ones,,,ugh-
did it have a plug or did you splice the wires?
iirc Denso makes the factory ones and they work reliably

Yep, i spliced it. question is, the code is P0135, which is the code for a malfunction for the o2 sensor i replaced. I could possibly go back to Kragens, give them the code, and possibly try to get them to give me a plug and play one. Most likely, it will still be the bosch one they gave me. has anyone tried replacing their denso one with the bosch plug and play without having any problems?

I replaced my o2 sensor that plugs into the cat with a direct fit bosch and my car started running really lean, get a denso and you won't have problems, I haven't.

ordered one this morning on ebay for 55 bucks shipped. there's a guy on there who's selling the front ones for 60 + 5 shipping, but theres a best offer. i offered 50 and got an automatic accepted. if you guys need a front one, go give him a try. just go on ebay and search 234-4727 including titles and descriptions. you'll see him.

something i just noticed while driving home a bit ago was that aside from the rough idling (going up and down from 1000-1500 rpm), at some points, the needle is also bouncing up and down just at 1500 rpm. what could be the cause of that?

Sounds like the O2 could be your problem.

Other issues could be a vac leak.

Problem was never found, but i got rid of the code. Went to the yard today to pick up a used type-s throttle body. however, when i got home, i purchased 4 bottles of carb cleaner, and sprayed down the whole intake manifold. then i installed the throttle body, and the car feels totally different. not sure if the throttle body fixed it, but a combination of everything solved the problem. just thought i'd update you guys on it. denso lagged, and wont be in till this morning but yes problem solved for now! car sounds great!
