I have a 99 TL with 210,000 miles. I'm getting a P0145 code - which is the O2 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 3. How do I determine the location of this sensor. Is this a easy replacement?

 

Are you sure its sensor 3?
there is only 2 O2 sensors on the car
Bank 1 sensor 1 should be in the manifold
Bank 1 sensor 2 should be in the cat
both are fairly easy to replace
best is to get special O2 sensor socket

 

If I search for OBD Code P0145 all I find is Bank 1 Sensor 3. Am I maybe getting a wrong code?

 

Can anyone tell me why I'm getting OBD Code P0145 (Bank 1 Sensor3) if there are only 2 sensors? Also can you tell me if Bank 1 is the passenger side or driver side?

Bank 1 sensor 3 is located on the rear side of the catalyctic convertor, the only sensor there.

Interesting if you look up acura parts catalog it only shows 2 sensors

 

Front and rear are the only ones, Cant use a long socket for the front oxygen sensor.
