oil pan puncture

oil pan puncture

I have a slight puncture in my oil pan what is a cheap easy way to plug this without having to spend a bunch of money or replace the oil pan how can we make this ghetto run

Replace the pan, there is no other way.....

Your ghetto ass gonna be walking if you don't replace the pan

can i put some jb weld on it? would anything hold the leak long enough to take it to a car lot to trade the bitch off?

technically, you're supposed to clean the pan clean of ANY oil...which means removing it.

the jb weld wont adhere if there's any slick oil coming from the puncture.

i google searched and someone said to use a stick epoxy instead of the JB weld. but that also assumes a clean oil free pan

Clean the bottom of the oil pan > Cut open an aluminum can to get a sheet of metal > Cover it in gasketmaker, and stick it to the bottom of the pan > Hold it till it sets, then use some jb weld or epoxy stick to glue the edges to the pan.

probably won't work but if you're dedicated to fixing this the wrong way, it's worth a shot lol
