Please help! I have a 99 TL with 95,000 miles. Religiously had oil service done every 3,000 miles. Haven't had so much as a small leak until today. Now, it leaves a puddle about 6 inches across when I park it. Appears to be leaking where the engine and tranny join. Its definitely oil , not TF, and its definitely leaking from the bottom of the engine (not valve covers, etc.). I am afraid it may be a main seal. Any thoughts? If so, how much should I expect to pay for repair? Many thanks!

 

Sure sounds like a main seal problem. No reason to have to take it Acura to repair that. Find a local shop that can do it.

 

 

Sounds like a main seal if its coming from that area.
