OEM Alarm is going off on it's own!

Whats up AZ'iners... I need your help before my neighbors have a public hanging of myself because of my damn alarm blarring during the night! I've read around and ppl mention the hood latch may need cleaning or replacing. At this point I could careless. Question, if I leave a door or doors unlocked, will the alarm arm itself? I'm just trying to prevent the damn alarm from going off at night... Advice?

if unlocked it will not arm the system
only when the red light on driver door blinks is it active
there is NO self arm system in normal use

look at hood and trunk sensors - ck door sensors
a few minutes work is better than filing the theft report and insurance claim...
unless you have awesome vehicle replacement insurance~

How's the battery?

I know that when some cars have a low/dying battery, the factory alarm goes nuts!
