hello, i have a problem while steering my car, regardless when i make a full turn or a u turn i hear and small but annoying clanking sound as if there is something stuck in my steering column, and i took the cover off but there seems to be nothing there. i appreciate everyones feedback

 

power steerin fluid is too old or too low? maybe it's leaking. change it.

 

you sure the sound is from the inside?

if it's comign from the outside i have a good feeling

 

Sounds like a bad CV joint. Bad PS pumps usually whine or moan, not clank. A bad CV joint (front axle) will clank or click when turning each time the wheel rotates. You feel it in the steering wheel, and it sounds like it's right underneath the floorboard...which it actually is.
