No Shift Gate Glow/Light HELP?

What the hell?
It's so hard to see without the glow/light on the PRNDL/Shift Gate..
Only way to figure it out is to check the dash, anyone know if this is a fuse or electrical problem? Can someone tell me what fuse box it's located at? Drivers or Passenger or under the hood? and What number the Fuse is? If it's an electrical problem what do I do?

Please help, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks so much!

The bulb is most likely burned out. Pull the grey/sliver trim off, then pop the shift plate cover off (the goofy notched black plastic one for the shifter). grab a needle nose pliers and pull the bulb out and replace. Just go to the dealer for it.

No but sometimes it goes back on.. on random days,
do you know where the fusebox is for this and what number it is? and I'll check that if not it's probably the bulb, theres no DIY on how to remove the bulb is there

And how do you remove all that disgusting gunk, dirt, inside the shifter? it's gross... Is there a spray I can buy or what should I use to remove like home made ingredients ?

Its NOT a fuse. There isnt just 1 fuse for that bulb. I told you how to remove the bulb. The directions cant be any easier than what i posted. Just pop the trim pieces off, take needle nose pliers and pull bulb out.
