This morning on my way to work I realized that my cruise control wouldnt turn on. It wont hold the speed (I was going 65-70, so not to slow for it to come on) and the green light did not turn on, on the dash. It worked yesterday. I can live without the CC but I want to be sure this isnt a fuse that will affect other parts of my car?? Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks.

 

tried pushing the cruise master power button? in case it got knocked to `off`

If thats ok- remove top plastic engine cover and inspect cable at throttle return spring assembly
There been a few recently that broke a plastic part holding the cable onto the spool
