My friend has a '00 TL and his bake break lights dont work. His rear window light works when he is braking, but none of the other ones light up. His brake light indicator doesn't turn on at all. I'm thinking that the module that relays the brake light condition back to the system doesn't work but i cant find it. I tried switch his brake switch with mine (i have a 99 TL) but the problem stayed with his car. Can anyone tell me where this unit is at or if im crazy and it doesn't exist and what i should actually be looking for.

you ckd the bulbs in back for function? and the fuses? with a multimeter?
do you get running lights or turn signals at all?
