New Clicking Problem, doesnt affect anything

this new pain in the butt has just arose recently... so far nothing is interrupted by it. its just really annoying..

and im guessing it has something to do with the AC b/c it will happen when the ac is turned on or off and the air speed is changed... also when the key is turned on it automatically does this for about 15 seconds then stops....

anyone?

coming from under the passenger dash side...

edit:sorry i meant to put in "Problems and Fixes"

Try looking around under the dash. Remove the glove compartment and open the AC filter. It might help...

Any more news on this? I have had the same problem. The dealer wanted $500 to take apart the dash and look for it.

its too simple to remove the glovebox, access the cabin air filters (which may need to be replaced anyway) and next to them is the cabin fan
A few bolts to remove its assembly and inspect things from there

alright i've found exactly what part is making the noise...

immediately after the center console ends under the dash on the passenger side, there is a small black box bolted upwards.. and just above that, there is a small metal hook attached to a white plastic arm. and i can see it stuttering.

its as if the arm is trying to move but is stripped or hung up.

dealer wants 90 bucks to tell me What it is.. but all i need is to know what im looking at. but they wont help unless i let a service guy take a look.

no thanks i'll post pictures later.. its possible we have the same noise
