hey guys im wondering to see if ya could be able to help me out i have a 2002 TL i replace a battery yesterday and when i went to turn on my radio is was asking me for a code i press 1,6,power and put a code i seen in the back of the radio nothing all it said err 3

is there a way i could get the code with out going to the dealer

there is no need to press 1,6 and power before entering the code. Pressing that only reveals the serial of the headunit (on some radios) Look in your glovebox/manual for the code and enter it.

 

there are several ways to get the code,,if you have the unit serial number thats the starting point
ck our diy section or register with acura- there is a retrieval system there--not sure if they want $ or not
there are free sites online too- enter the car vin and seriel opf unit- there is your code!

sometimes its been written down by an owner on the edge of the glovebox door or place like that--inside fuse covers...might be a small white sticker from the factory with it inside a fuse box cover in the engine area
