peel of the sticker first, use hair dryer to heat it up the remaining, then use packaging tape to pull it out. goo gone could do the job, but could be very messy.

goo gone should work.
I usually just use windex and razor blade.
Works good on glass.

Cover part of the dash with a rag, towel or newspaper below the gunk.

Spray WD-40 over the gunk on the windshield, don't have it run all over.

Wait...20 - 30 minutes.

If the gunk is real stubborn, use a razor to scrape off. Otherwise a cloth or paper towel will do. Just wipe off.

Clean glass with your preferred cleaner.

Remove dash cover from above and check for any WD-40 or glass cleaner overspray and remove.

Done.

I had an RX-7 way back that had two dried adhesive strips on the back window I could not remove. A buddy told me about the WD-40 trick and it worked perfectly. Hope it works for you too.

Everyone is making it way too complicated and time consuming. Spray with glass cleaner. Scrape with razor blade with pressure. Thats it.
