I went to start my car - it made a click noise and instantly killed the power to everything else in the car after trying to start it. After the click, the car would no longer make clicking noises trying to start it up. About a minute later, the car's power to everything came back, i heard another click when this happened. then i drove it after it started back up for about ten minutes, i got out of my car and it smelt like something was burning

What type of burn smell? Electrical? Any smoke? Did you open the hood & look around?

is it a 99?
those have a bad ignition switch--acura has a recall for one time replacement on the 99 then its on you next 3 times it fails
