Is my battery weak or not?
My 02 tl seem like it has a weak battery or maybe something else. I'm just sitting in my car and listening to the radio for about 30 minutes with engine off and when I try to start the car, the battery dies. It has factory stereo system as well. I've never had trouble starting the car when I'm driving on a daily basis. So I had to charge the battery to get it started. This has happen to me twice in 3 weeks already. Could it be the battery or alternator?

Seems like your battery is not holding sufficient charges. Very soon, you won't be able to start the car even when the radio is always off. Are you still on the original battery ? Auto batteries normally last for 3-4 years.

Drive to any major name parts store and ask for a battery- electrical system test- they do it FREE
As said- most batteries are lucky to get 3 maybe 4 years life these days
The store will even sell you a new one!!!!

If it is the original battery, consider yourself lucky it lasted this long. Mine died on me in my driveway when I had to leave the battery on for 20 minutes to complete my XM radio service download.
I jumped the car and then it would act like it wanted to stall when coming to a stop. I went with the Duralast Gold for $93. That included the terminal protectors, and grease. It also comes with an 8yr warranty. 3yrs free replacement and the rest is pro-rated. They also give you a card that is good for 3 years of free jump start if you are stranded anywhere.

if your battery is really dead and you're in dire need of a battery and you're located in or around the bay area, lemme know because I have a used battery thats about 6 months old. it's been swapped out by the warranty 3 times and the free replacement is still for another three years. i have a 48 month free replacement and a 96 month pro rated warranty on it, so lemme know!
My battery got replaced by an optima red top, so i need to find it a good home :P

yep- you need a new battery
cars that sit unused are very hard on battery as well- get a 10 dollar battery maintainer- trickle charger- float chareer- all the same thing!
Motorcycles use them -
it keeps a full charge in the battery- when battery loses a little bit- as they do when stored- it tops it back off

If you like to sit and listen to radio- invest in a "marine/rv use- deep cycle battery",
cost a little more, but made to run things without engine running- like a tv and radio all weekend in the camper, and made to hold charge during months long storage periods of times
