My baby's been hit
My baby's been hit
Need some advice on the repair of my car. Well the inevitable has happened after 10.5 years as the original owner my baby been hit. The other driver ran the stop sign and hit her on the passenger side front corner. The impact lifted the car on to the drivers side wheels before the car returned to the ground. Damage the car sustained was front right fender, hood, fog, head light and torn off passenger side section of the front bumper. Engine starts and runs but alignment is off. it looks like the front passenger wheel has been set back an inch or more. My question is, with this impact lifting the car, what else can i expect to have replaced in the front end? Will I have to replace the sub assembly that holds the engine? I'm sure the passenger side suspension will need to be repalced completely. Do you think its worth getting fixed? What's your opinion?
Any input is welcomed.

It's hard to tell from a picture. You'll more than likely have to take it to a shop and have them look at it and tell you. Also even then they might not find all the damage until they dig into and start fixing it.
Well fellas..... its a total loss! Looks like i'm outta luck. I had just finished the timing belt service just prior to the accident. Man i feel sick. What the hell are people thinking when they are driving? Anyway I gotta figure what i'm gonna do.......

if they cash out and let you keep your car, it will get converted to a Salvage Title. At this time you have several options,
1. Fix it to its prior glory
2. Take the cash and keep the car
3. Increase the cash out option by doing research on the nearby cars (Criaglist) is going for and asking for a fairer amount
I think it's your call. You can PM me if you want, I have a similar experience also that I can share with you offline. thanks

I was quoted almost $8,000 to fix.
You tell them you want the N.A.D.A Value of the vehicle paid, They owe you for pain and suffering as well if you wanted to pursue money for your injuries. Ya 01tl is right you should talk to the insurance claim adjuster and tell them you just had to repair and they should add some on top of what you on if your not taking the car. Show them the repair bills that were just paid. I got paid for my Integra 4000.00 for a 95 rs cause I showed them recites of brand new tires and wheels just bought from discount tire and a motor swap I had just put in it that was paid in like 3 days, Then it took like 7 months to pay out for my pain and suffering claim.
