My Acura has problems…
My Acura TL 2003 Type s has problems. I drove it one day and it stalled and basically turned off the engine but not the accessory mode for about 10 minutes and then it turned back on (the engine). the next day I ran it with premium (because it takes premium) and it worked just fine the whole day of testing it. The next day was the same, all day just fine. And then the day after that, it lasted a good distance and then stalled and the engine shut off again. This was at half way gas, it turned back on ten minutes later and we got a full tank of premium. It lasted some distance and then did it again for 10 minutes. A few hours of testing it, it was fine and then it went out twice for ten minutes each and then 5 minutes pass and the car shuts off and it will now not start at all again. It keeps trying to start (kick) but it’s just not grabbing onto anything. What would the problems be?
I have replaced the ignition switch already…
It stalled out at this… So it’s not out of gas. But we have never used premium gas for this car, but it should’ve flushed it out with the cleaner we used already

From your description it seems to run when it the tank is full. When the tank is full you will get more fuel in the lines when the fuel pressure is low. I would be checking the fuel pressure. If the fuel pump is going or if there is a leak in the fuel filter (it surrounds the fuel pump) the pressure will be low and the car will eventually stall. This would show up more going uphill with a lower amount of fuel in the tank. The fuel pressure at the rail should be ~48-55 PSI and the pressure from the pump will range from ~85- 105 PSI. I have had microcracks in the fuel filter and the pump was working fine but the pressure at the rail was too low. The fuel was leaking through the cracks in the filter and back into the tank when at the normal pump pressure. Good Luck.
