Looking to see if there is a way to buy a passenger side front brake mounting bracket only. I've searched threads and haven't found anything. My caliper is fine, but the threading is stripped on the mounting bracket for the brakes. The wrench actually pulled the thread out!

 

the junkyard will be fastest, or one of the online acura dealers here. Its not something the parts store has, and they are not all the same
Example- you can use Legend calipers on a TL, but the legend bracket-while visually the same- doesnt actually fit the TL

problem is is i dont see the bracket as being a part separate from the caliper you can buy

OK - I speculated- I am sorry

Take the old bracket with you and hit the wreckers- they may have one sitting next to a core caliper for 5 bucks

Kris-do you have any crossover bracket info like, honda V6 with caliper in front of strut will be the ones to look for?

 

Thanks for the advice. Not much in the way of acura parts at the wreckers around here. Looks like I should just buy the rebuilt caliper assembly and suck it up.
