Misfire Coil Check, Now Won't Start

1999 TL 92K
After several fixes including new EGR, plugs, and injector o-rings, still had a CEL and a misfire.
Used a new coil to check all... pulled #3 no misfire change, so swapped for new coil, no change, still misfire on #3.
Pulled coil while running, arching well, but when I pulled coil out, engine stopped dead. Reinserted original coil...no change.
Now won't run at all, starter working, checked ign coil and ECU fuses...OK.
No fuel smell, nothing burning.
What happened? Did I blow the PCM or?
TIA Joe

just keeps turning over? any CEL codes now that it's not starting? do you have an OBDII reader? they are cheap now. $15 on amazon.

OBD was reading P1399, a fake code for Acura. Haven't tried OBD when it only cranks.
Can't drive to a better OBD.
Checked fuses.
Maybe fried a solder joint in the PGM-FI main relay?

Did you try the jumper wire to get OBD II codes via the CEL flashing sequence? getting the codes will certainly narrow down the possibilities.

Fixed!
EGR bought on Ebay, was faulty, actually a lose part internally...
New Standard EGR from Rockauto, got it running.
But still P0303... Installed AUS Injectors for 123.
Fixed, thanks to all.
My '99 is purring again.
FWIW, installed a black dot FPR,..
The old ECU handled it well...?
Perhaps the future will alter that observation.

Throttle Cable Fix

Just a bump to prior posts
My '99 TL started an oscillating idle 1100-1500.
Code P0505...IACV.
Put in a new one when cleaning didn't help.
New one didn't help??? Still P0505 ?
Took out the black dot FPR, replaced with OEM, 20 years old.
Took out the IACV, replaced with OEM 20 years old.
Not any better, S**t.
Read just about every post in Honda and Acura forums.
Don't even know where it was now. BUT suggestion:
Loosened the Throttle cable, it was tight.
Back to specs with just a bit of play. 11-188 in the service manual.
Idle smoothed out...P0505 disappeared.
Good Grief...a long painful episode, got me thinking about spending $41K for a new one.
Hope this helps someone else.
Meanwhile, time will tell if all if well.
Joe
