Guys,

After filling up and using about an eighth of a tank, I pulled of the freeway and when I got to my destination, the car was shuddering unbelievably.

VSA, triangle and Check engine light all came on. Engine light was flashing. Got car home and there was pronounced shudder at all speeds. Very noticeable in 5th at about 2100 RPM. If I shifted into 4th, it was less pronounced.

This comes 3 weeks after a new transmission was put in.

Took car in today and the codes were multiple misfire:

P1300, 1301, 1302, 1304, 1306, 1399

Thoughts?

 

A good cleaning of the EGR and valve adjustment did the trick. 223k on the clock and it now runs like it should.

 

you may have a bad coil still
that causes multi cyl codes
drive it and reck codes to be safe

note that egr cleaning of the intake manifold should be done every 75kmiles

valve adjust makes a huge difference in fuel injected cars running=mpg,,,every 100 for that
