I lost the key to my 1999 Acura TL and want to remove the immobilizer and disable this security feature how would I go about doing that

 

It "MAY" be possible to desolder and remove the Immobilizer chip on the ECU board which "MIGHT" get the car running, but unless you replace it with some kind of emulator, you will have a CEL and the OBII will be rendered inop(won't pass inspection if your state requires it). I've not seen anyone, on these forums anyway, who have been successful doing a immobilizer delete on these vehicles. Even an aftermarket remote starter will require an already programmed key.

My suggestion would be to call around to local automotive locksmith's who should be able to set you up fairly painlessly.
