Lost Auto Up/Down Function on Driver's Window

I've looked through the forum, but didn't see anything about this. The other day while doing a really basic Sirius radio install, I hit something on the dash that made my parking lights & headlights flash (similar to what happens when locking with the key fob remote). After that, my driver's side power window lost its one touch open & close capability. I have NO idea what I hit, and I'm wondering if there's some kind of reset for it. Any help would be appreciated.

Turn the key on but do not start the car. Roll down your window and hold it pressed down for 10 seconds, then roll up the window and hold it for 10 seconds. Now, your auto one-touch window feature should work again. Hope that helped.

Is it true that some of the TL models only have an Auto Down Feature on the driver's window (as opposed to auto down AND up)?

We just purchased an '02 TL and the auto-up/down feature isn't working. I tried the reset sequence above with no luck.

I also fould a reset procedure in the owner's manual (car running, roll down, roll up, wait two seconds, release switch). Still no joy.

In many cases, the window wouldn't roll up after rolling down. Sometimes it would take 20+ seconds, sometimes I'd release the switch and wait 30+ seconds before it would work again.

Am I missing something simple, or might I have a bigger problem (one search indicated a moisture-related switch recall).

Thanks!
