All, I just went and looked at a 1999 TL with 132k on the clock. I test drove it and it drive really well. Although the 2-3 shift was kinda harsh.. I read all the problems people have had with the trannies.. Is this a sign of the trans going out? Should I stay away from this car? Other then that it was in good shape considering the miles.

 

I have a 1999 TL and the 2-3 shift shouldn't be harsh at all. Unless you're going to have a mechanic check it out I would keep looking.
