Leather Interior Repair (w/ pics)

I have a tear/rip in the driver's seat. And also two scratches center of back-seat.

I'd like to DIY, but know next to nothing about leather repair kits. Any advice would be a weight off my mind...

thanks in advance!

The repair kits are garbage. They do not look good at all. I have never had good luck at all with them. I would try to put some kind of glue in the tear just to hold it so it doesn't go any further. It looks like it is kind of hard to see? The two marks on the back of the seat I wouldn't even worry about they don't look bad enough to spend the money on right now. I would wait until all of these spots get worse before taking it somewhere, because it is expensive, but I would not use a leather patch kit.

Can't see the pics at work but my suggestion is to always take it to an automotive upholstery shop and see what kind of estimate they give you. It might not be as bad as you think.
