I have a 2002 3.2 w/ 85k milage. It is leaking from the rear main seal possibly...its been leaking after my car went to acura dealership for the second time for my transmission after they replaced & fixed my 4th gear clutch pressure switch after that it started leaking....is there any thing i can possibly do? to stop the leak or if i get it replaced any idea of the cost?

 

I had mine done for 350 plus 50 for a "transmission service" which consists of them getting all of the oil out while the transmission is out of the car and replacing it. They also put in a new external filter that I provided.

 

Only fix is replacing the seal.

 

Ok but if I don't the the rear main seal replaced at acura and get it done some where else will it void the warranty on my transmission?

 

take it to the dealer. or a honda/acura specialty shop
