I have an oil leak that is not from valve covers or the oil filter. It is running down onto the exhaust and smells bad. The local Honda dealer says there is one area that TLs are known for,but I did a search and did not see any threads related. Does anyone have a thought on what to check. I'm hoping it's not the rear main. Thanks.

 

there is no known leak issue from the upper area of the motor. The only known area is the rear main. If you jack up the car and look under where the motor and trans meet up you will see if its the rear main.
