knocking noise left front A-arm

I hear a loud knocking noise every time I hit a bump, with the car in the air (jackstands of course) I moved each suspension piece and it is the upper A-arm that appears to be loose enough to make the noise. So, the question... what am I looking at to fix this, money and time... thanks for any responses...

Its probably the upper ball joint. You can get just the ball joint and have it pressed in or you can buy the whole arm. You can get the whole arm and ball joint here for 66 bucks.

Sounds like you're bushings are probably worn out. I had the same problem with my 6th Gen Accord.

Check your ball joints.

Where do you find the right bushings and are they easy to install yourself?

You dont. Odds are any clunking is from the ball joints or the sway bar end links. Given the age that our cars are getting its a good idea to replace the upper a-arm so that it comes with a new ball joint and new bushings in the control arm. Also replace the lower ball joint and lower control arm so that you get new bushings in that as well
