Hmm - I assume it was ok the last time you drove it and nobody's been messing with it while you're gone?
How's it running? If it's running normally, I'd check all of the fluids and drive it to the gas station to top off the tank with fresh gas. Then when you get back home, disconnect the battery and let it sit for 15 minutes. Reconnect the battery and drive it again. If the light doesn't come back on - forget about it.
If it's not driving right - get the codes read.

nobody messed with it, it was in my grandmas garage...when i jumped it, the engine sounded like it was doing little revs by it self...basically as i was letting the engine run it was pulsating.

sounds like the iac was a little stuck. Pull the clock backup fuse for 10 min and put it back in and see if the light stays off

Check all of the fluids (beyond the oil), and get some fresh gas in it. Then reset the computer by disconnecting the battery.
You're probably going to have to just run it for a while for it to smooth out.
Remember to charge the battery with a battery charger - instead of just running the car. An alternator is not designed to charge a dead battery; it's designed to maintain a properly charged one. You can shorten the life of the alternator by having it recharge the battery.

I had the same thing happen to me last year for Christmas break, I left my car at school when I flew home. It is the idle air control valve, I took it to Acura and they wanted to replace it, I just took my car up on the highway for about 20 minutes and the problem was taken care of, I did have to unplug the battery to clear the check engine light.
The IAC just sticks a little if you haven't driven or started the car for a while, not a big deal.
