Intake - Should coolant be under this cover?? 2003
I have a 03 3.2TL. 185k. Just had the trans rebuilt. Now I am losing coolant. Trying to figure out where.
Should there be coolant visible under the little cover that is on top of the intake manifold?

I pulled and reinstalled the trans. I made a rookie mistake. I am used to my iron V8s. I held the engine up from the top via the intake manifold. I am pretty sure I cracked my OEM one. So I just installed this used and tested one. I want to make sure this one isnt bad too. I was losing coolant very quick. To the point where it would not run. Now it runs, but is getting some coolant into the oil. I have done 5 oil changes since I put the new intake manifold one. The oil is getting cleaner, but i am still losing coolant.

you have a TB coolant line hooked to a vacuum line. There are 2 small coolant lines on the bottom of the TB that look like vacuum lines. If you have one of them hooked to the TB the engine is drawing in coolant.
Yep. You are right. Figured it out last night. I had the back side (firewall side) of my ATF heater wrong.
Do you guys know where that ATF heater line goes? I have it going to the bottom of the throttle body. Is that right??
