Installed amp, but lost alarm chirp

Hey. As in the title, I installed a JL audio amp and subs. Sounds great, much better than the stock sub, but for some reason I lost the chirp function on the alarm. No idea how or why this happened. The installer ran the wires on the driverside, and i think they utilized the speaker wires from someplace near the pillar on that side, under the seat belt thing. Anyone have ideas as to why this happened?

Also, I've been having a tought time starting my car, even before the install. Happened a week ago, where the car didnt want to start for about 5 seconds. Just today, it seemed like it didnt have enough power. I dont think the amp would draw that much power while off. COuld it be related to the alarm systems? Any help is appreciated, inclduing people telling me to search, or that this is in the wrong forum.

Less power

do you have your remote wire to your amp or to your deck? if so you must have an aftermarket deck right? well my car got weak after i ran a 500/1 jl amp to it. your amp and sub might need a fared cap or maybe your battery is loose or just weak. what kinda deck do you have? stock or aftermarket?

Found out the problem after a little looking. Turns out they cut the wire to my siren and didnt reconnect it right. Easy fix.

The hard time starting isnt related to the amp. I'm running a 500/1 JL amp also, powering 2 10w3v2s. No dimming or anything, unless the bass is cranked up. I'm running an OEM deck as well, don't have the money to replace it with a decent deck. Still have no idea why the car has a tough time starting every once in a while though. So odd.
