Angry Injector help

I just removed my fuel rail in the process of pulling my lower intake. I noticed the plastic tip of two of the injector broke off and stayed in the intake port. Do I need to replace the injectors or will they still work if I snap them back in with the tip left in place?

OEM or AFTER MARKET INJECTORS?

I need to replace a couple of injectors. After market price is $57.00 Local Acura dealers price $155.00. My car has 177K on it and I will be selling it in about a year. Is it worth the difference for OEM?

Hey Geedub, that's almost a no brainer .....if you're going to be selling the car soon, a savings of almost 75% for a name brand aftermarket part is the smart decision. Even if keeping the car indefinitely.....it's hard to justify the "OEM" prices. You're saving on the install, so it's only a matter of your budget !

Oh and use some motor oil or Vaseline on the rubber o-rings before you install them. It will allow them to slide into place without damaging the o-rings

Because the 99s were the retarded (specially gifted for those that want to be politically correct) kids of the 2nd gen TLs. They had odd ball just about everything when it came to wiring and stuff.

Oh, and They are 89 from that link that i posted for the 99s

Good luck Geedub on the Oddball '99 !

I'm thinking that alot of the '99 drivetrain is simply a carryover from the previous TL Gen 1's.

They actually were the pioneers and have more Japanese influence and character than our more domesticated 2nd Gen models. True classics !
