So I have a 2003 type s. I was following the diy guide and my wiring harness is different. I have side airbags and the wires are different colors. Anyone with a similar harness do this install, can you please let me know what wire you used for the power from the passenger side fuse area. I tried using the orange and it is for the door locks so everytime the door shuts or opens the doors lock or unlock. the only other live wire i found makes the little voltage regulator hum so i think its not going to work.

 

Im not too sure about this, but if its just the 12volt regulator you could just run it to the same connector as glow guages use.
