ignition switch recall

i own a 99 tl. i have been reading about this recall for the ignition switch and even went to the acura website and found out that the recall is still open. can anyone tell me if they had this replaced and if it actuallly worked. if it didnt work did you figure out what the actual problem was and how much it cost to get fixed.

If its a Recall its free...if ur not the first owner it may have been done already the dealer will tell u

its a Recall. Bring it in and have it replaced.

i tried doing it , they told me no recall in Canada. Best bet just buy it for $40.00. Make sure you get it replaced because my car would turn on and off at crucial times. When I didnt get it replaced fucked up.
