My wife just got 03 tl-p about 3 weeks ago.
And I'm noticed when I shift from reverse to drive(D5) there have 1 or 2 second delay. I felt like the car jerk forward a little bit about 1 or 2 second after I shift to D5 from reverse.
And also when I drive on D5 ,5 second before the car shift to 3rd gear, sometimes the car stutter.
Her Accord doesn't do that.
As soon shift from reverse to drive, I don't fell any jerk or anything.(really smoth)
Do you think it could be the tranny going bad?
What's the warranty on the factory tranny the one come with the car?

 

Sounds like a trans. Id register with acuras ownerlink (at acura.com) and see if your car has the extended trans warranty and if you qualify for it
