How would I go about getting this out?

I was trying to replace my LEDs in my odometer and the led fell out of the socket and into the odometer, how would I go about getting the LED out? would I have to remove the gauge faces?

I dropped it in this hole:

Take the front plastic and back plastic off. you should be able to shake it out then

I tried that but I dont think I can shake it out even with the plastics off, looks like the odometer is surrounded off by a plastic rectangle:

With the front plastic off it will come out. You wont have to remove the gauges.
