How do you get rid of these spots?

When I first purchased the car from the dealer, I thought these were spots that were removable. But, after my first wash, that's when I realized that it wasn't going to come off. Does anybody know what kinda spots are these? It looks like someone dripped wax on the hood and left it on the hood to dry in the sun. Anyways, does anybody know how you can remove these embarassing spots on the hood? Thank you for any input!

*The spots are circled in red in the picture.

Those look like bird poop etching.

And agree with ^. Clay bar, and polish it out. It'll come out. Then seal/wax

Check the Wash & Wax section for more info.

Thanks for the input guys. I just bought the Turtle Wax Ice Clay Kit. The kit was $16.99. Apparently, they don't sell seperate clay bars at auto parts stores. I heard they might sell them individually at car washes. Also got me some wax, swirl, and scratch remover. I'll post results once im finished! (:

- claybar your hood working in a 2' x 2' area at a time
+ the professional hand motion of claying is to leave your forearm stationary while flicking the clay with light pressure left and right quickly

-repeat till smooth finish is achieved and hopefully bird etching is off..if not, you may have to continue onto a cutting compound.

By flicking, you mean contact from the hood and the clay, correct? So, in another words, rubbing left and right quickly with light pressure?

flick? you can go in any way you want with the clay ex:left right and even cirle motion.
If the wax/clay doesnt work, they have bug/sticky,stain remover by turtle wax.
