seats= search for the $3 seat heater fix thread, basically just soldering a new wire in to fix the heating element

window=reinitalize (sp?) it, your battery was proably disconnected not too long ago, so it lost the settings
basically roll the window up manually, and hold the switch for a few seconds after the windows has completely closed, then do the same thing with going down and the window fully open (the computer has to relearn the stop positions for the window) and it should work after that (till the battery is disconnected again or goes completely dead)

and as far as the auto up/down.. did you recently disconnect the battery?.. if so, just turn the car on, push and hold the button all the way down until the windows down, then pull and hold the button all the way up until the window is fully up.. that should reset it to have the auto up/down.. if you didnt recently disconnect the battery, not sure what to tell ya..

And also you need to hold it a few seconds after it's fully up/down. Don't let go right away.

I found a TSB #01-019 that relates to this issue. It is a safety recall. The text states : "Moisture contamination may have been introduced to the power window control unit during the manufacturing process. Moisture can lead to dendritic growth or mineral crystallization within the capacitors. This growth can cause a capacitor or capacitors to short circuit. There may also be a problem with the conformal coating applied to the circuit board to keep out moisture in high humidity conditions. A short circuit can cause on or more problems:

-The auto down or auto up function may operate inadvertently, and the auto reverse function may be deactivated.

-The auto down and/or auto up function may be inoperative.

-The driver's window may fail to operate in the non-auto mode.

-Some combination of these problems.:"

Hope this helps you with your window issue.

Jesse
