Just wanted to know what exactly do I spray with the carb cleaner??

 

The inside of the throttle body. The butterfly valve, especially the edges. Typically dirt builds up there and causes stick throttles.

 

Thanks I appreciate the response, do I spray it while someone is pressing the gas or just while the car is off?

 

you should take it out and clean it

 

^ You'll need new gaskets if you remove the TB.

Have the car off when you clean it. You can have someone press the gas, but not necessary, just makes it a bit easier. If you're by yourself, just turn the throttle on the side of the TB and it'll open the valve to clean it.

 

You can do a seafoam or what I do sometimes is take off the snorkle tube and get some seafoam deep creep and spray the throttle plate and that will clean the throttle body and idle air control valve ( Iac). Run the car while you do it and open the throttle by manually pulling the cable or have someone rev it up. I am a Honda Tech, and at work we do what is called a BG fuel induction clean, same principle using a special chemical and setup to clean. One way we tell if a TB is dirty is you can see a visible black ring on the outside of the throttle plate. you can also open the plate and shine a light inside.
