Before I break my wipers.....can anyone please tell me how can I nicely pull out the old rubber? There seems to be little plastice thing at the end of the wiper...I can't seem to figure out how to open it?

I have a 2003 TL Type-S

 

pull them, they come right off.

 

Many on this forum have switched to the Bosch ICON wipers that come with the new arm with rubber on it, actually all that external bracing and springs are -Inside the blade- on the ICON and they have a nifty aero spoiler to keep blade on window
About 18 bucks a side and worth every penny in improved vision

 

When I first seen this thread I thought you were talking about just the wipers rubber on the wiper it self. Anyway Yea I got those Bosch ICONS and like McDonalds im LUVIN IT LOL. Plus if you dont have any skillz at replaceing things go to advanced auto parts or someplace like that and buy them. They will show you how to replace them.
