When I close the hood of my 2003 tl it completely latches but there is a gap between the grill and the hood and the headlights and the hood. i am able to push the hood down a little more but it still seems to pop back up? whats going on>

 

lift it higher..and let it drop

 

you may need to adjust the hood latch lower. Also make sure the rubber hood stops arent keeping it from going lower.

 

Check the stops & adjust if necessary .

 

Hey thanks for all thanks for all the responses guys, I have already adjusted the stoppers and made sure they were nit interfering and I have already tried slamming the hood down. How would I go about lowering the latch?

 

I have the same problem...you need to push this lever(it is attached to a spring) down on the hood latch and then let the hood down...should be fine

very common problem on our cars and 6th gen accords

 

WTF are you talking about, normally it is just misaligned somewhere and needs adjustment


but yeah OP, dropping the hood a little does help getting it latched correctly
