Iv been surfing this site for a while now a finally joined so be easy on me. Well im sad to say my tl is having problems. Last night after dinner i get in my car and crank her up and it's starts shaking and hesitaiting.

The check engine light came, and when you drive it flashes, and when you stop it stop flashing, as well as the traction control light stays on. The weird thing is when i have my foot on the break and let go it starts to shack pretty bad.

I can't seem to find out the problem. Well iv been using 89oct gas for the past few months due the increase in prices and did change my spark plugs a couple months back but dont think any of the two would cause this just thought i would throw that out there. Does anyone have a clue what this might be.

My car never came with a owners manual though im sure it would tell you the different possibilities of the check engine light. And to top it all off i came home to a flooded basement dam what a night. Any info would be much appreicated.

 

try to have the code read somewhere. some places do it for free.

 

Well went to auto zone code p0301 misfire 8 different codes all the misfire i think the last one was p0399. I changed me spark plugs a couple of months ago and also searched.

I guess the first thing is to try to make sure all coil packs seated right and or buy one plug and keep swtiching to see if that solves the problem. Now my question is how do you know which coil pak is bad? Also read could be a dirty egr but where would that be and the proper way to clean it.
