does anyone know what this could be, when the car is rolling and when i brake the passenger side makes this rubbing noise the same noise you get when you have no brake pads rubbing / grinding noise,
i mostly hear it when i brake, i did my brakes a couple of months ago so i dont think its my brake pads.

did anyone have the same issue could it be my wheel bearing its been 2 years since i got the car and i never changed that and i know my axle boot or wtv is ripped but this noise just came recently

 

if an axle boot is ripped- the grease for the cv bearing leaks out and road grit gets in = goodbye very important bearing

replace the entire axle assembly for that side with NEW unit from NAPA or rockauto--your choice of places

 

First stop of the AM only, it's just surface rust on the rotors. No worries.


If more often than that, you need to pull the wheels and inspect. You could have a binding pad, slider pin, or caliper which have worn out your new pads.

calipers do fail and stick partially ON--taking new pads to nothing in short order

Its one reason that changing the brake fluid is so important- especially as our cars age.
old fluid has contaminents which destroy the caliper piston oring- then the cylinder bore, and the caliper piston gets stuck,,,

its too easy to pop the wheels off and find out whats going on
Did you clean and lube the correct areas during brake job?
