Help replacing rear oxygen sensor 2000 TL
Received 0141 code which is rear O2 sensor. Under the car, on the passenger side in the middle of the catalytic converter I saw a sensor. I couldn't see any other one. Is that the right one? I'm having a real hard time loosening the sensor. I have sensor tool and socket wrench & I used PB Blaster to no avail. I am afraid I might snap something or break catalytic converter if I try push too hard..Any suggestions?? I don't have much room for leverage under the car..

only issue with being over seas, the car might have been built to a different spec then the ones here
do you know if it is a USA ( or Canada, which is slightly different though) or a Japan Spec car?
also if a USA spec one, is it a California emissions car, or a 50 state emissions car
that that could potentially make a difference in needed part numbers
but the A11 would be the front o2 sensor, while the L21 is the rear one, both are bank 1 btw, but sensor 1 and sensor 2, to be more specific
edit: if you would like you can also PM your VIN, and i can doable check for you especially if it is a USA spec car, (is the speedo primary in MPH, along with the HVAC controls in Fahrenheit?)

Replaced Upstream o2 sensor gas mileage not great
I replaced my upstream o2 sensor and its looks like I have lost about 5 miles per gallon on my gas mileage. I was thinking that since I haven't replaced the downstream sensor maybe that is the reason. The downstream sensor isn't bad yet but maybe mixing a new one with a old might be the issue.
