Help, need to know where to fill tranny fluid...

I know this is a stupid question, but I just vought my first import, a 2000 3.2 tl, and I have to take it in for the tranny recall in a week, but I want to make sure ther is enough transmission fluid to last me to the end of the week. Can anyone tell me where this fill tube is, so I can top it off? Thank you for you comments and suggestions...

??? You need to make sure there is enough fluid to get you to the end of the week?? Is it leaking or something? There is a Yellow Dipstick on the drivers side (front of tranny) where you check the level (tranny fluid warm, car off)

The filler is a 17mm bolt Standing on the drivers side fender looking at teh engine, Look to the back side of the tube that goes from the air filter box to the throtle body and down.

the part on the pic on the left should say fill plug not drain plug

thank you, and no, no leak, but shuddering. Just making sure there was plenty of fluid. As I said before, I am used to pre-86 chevy small blocks and such. Transaxles aren't exactly my specialty, I appreciate the help. I have no owners manual, and am stuck in Bum-f##k Egypt...

If you are showing signs of a shuddering I would also pay attention to the way it shifts (especially from 2-3) Look for any signs of slipping.(like a slipping clutch ) between the shift. If you see any of that id recomend bringing it in asap.

Mine started shuddering and the dealer replaced it due to "internal failure".

that's the plan here. Goes to dealership on Monday for a replacement most likely. I'm sure they will try to BS me for a bit, saying it was something else. When I called Acura dot com, they pretty much said go in and get a new tranny free on us, man... Quite relieving, just drove the thing off the lot, and the next day the shuddering and the exact same slippage you referred to between 2-3 gear. I guess this is an ongoing problem with a lot of Acuras eh?
